The lift renovations seem to have been going on forever; it can be problematic trying to exit as the lifts are often full I would expect a pod coffee machine in a hotel like this rather than just instant coffee.

Poor arrival experience. Check-in is a 3pm but our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:15pm. Only one person at the reception desk despite it obviously being peak checkin period. the All Members Priority line/desk was unattended, so my Diamond status afforded me no special treatment. Very ordinary!

Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there were significant issues with the elevators. The lift system was extremely slow and stopped on nearly every floor, even when no one was waiting. It felt like the elevators were not properly synchronized — for example, even when another lift had already picked up passengers, the one we were in would still stop unnecessarily on the same floors. This made moving around the hotel quite frustrating, especially during peak times. We stayed for 9 nights (13–22 February). On our last day, we informed the reception that we would like a late check-out at 12 noon. As an Accor Platinum member, we were assured everything was arranged. However, after returning from shopping, both of our key cards had already been deactivated before noon, and we were unable to access our room. We had to wait for staff assistance to regain entry, which was inconvenient. That said, I would like to sincerely commend the Concierge team — they were outstanding. They were consistently helpful with luggage, directions, and assistance, always friendly and attentive. The Housekeeping team was also excellent, often checking in during the evening to see if we needed anything further. Their service truly stood out.

All staff were friendly. My room was spacious and clean. Great bathroom. Nice views. Very quiet yet in a central city location.
