I am writing to share feedback from my recent stay, with the intention of helping improve service standards for future guests. We arrived on Monday, 29 December, and during check-in we were incorrectly charged approximately $5,000 on our credit card as a bond. I immediately questioned this, as a voucher should have been applied. The front desk staff member acknowledged this was an error and reprocessed the transaction, charging approximately $400, which appeared to be correct. Additionally, our room access card did not allow entry to Level 65, requiring us to return to the front desk to have the card reissued. On the final day of our stay, at 4:05 pm, a manager contacted us to advise there was remaining credit and asked whether we wished to order room service. This was particularly disappointing, as we had previously been informed that this credit could not be used for anything other than the room booking. As a result of this inconsistent information, the credit was ultimately forfeited. Overall, the lack of consistency in staff knowledge and communication significantly impacted our experience. If I were to rate my stay, I would give it 2 out of 5 stars. I believe additional staff training and clearer communication would greatly improve the guest experience.

I booked this property expecting a 5-star hospitality experience, but unfortunately the service felt closer to a 3-star standard. There was no one to greet us on arrival. Despite multiple luggage trolleys being available, we had to carry our own bags to the room . Check-in was smooth but felt more like a self-service process, with guests required to stand and complete formalities on laptops placed on tables. We did get help when we asked for it . Breakfast quality was excellent, however long queues just to get a table took away from the experience. We requested used cutlery to be cleared, but it remained untouched for two full days, even after checkout. While the property itself may meet 5-star expectations, the hospitality and service clearly do not. The team would benefit from proper training in guest handling and service standards.

My deposit was fully charged to my credit card and has still not been refunded. I don't like situations like this and I demand my money back.
