We booked a room with two twin beds which were comfortable and the room was spacious. The air conditioning was great here since it was during a heat wave in August. The location is perfect—under ten min walk to the city center right across the bridge and directly in front of a tram stop in high made it very easy to use the public transit in Bern (especially since we were given the Bern transit card so all of our public transit through the city was included). The breakfast was fantastic, tons of options and the food was delicious. The only thing that could be better (though not necessarily a deal breaker) is that the bathroom door could be more sturdy since it is a sliding cloudy glass door that makes a bit of noise when closing and doesn’t provide any privacy for noise or light. A regular door would be much better here.

The staff were very friendly on our stay. However, I found out they charged us twice on the hotel parking. we were one family staying in 3 different rooms, they made my brother pay then I paid again without knowing even though we only used one car and one parking lot. I only found out after when we already checked out and in the car moving to our next destination.

We used the Hotel as a base to explore Switzerland. The hotel is amazing with a fantastic level of detail and service. The tram to town stops right outside. The hotel has lovely rooms and after a hard day travelling or sightseeing you can relax in the garden with its water features and have a snack and drinks.
