ZURICH, Jun 2010

To make travelling with children easier for parents, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts have expanded their Kids Room idea: the international hotel chain now tailors the rooms to three different age groups, allowing them to satisfy the needs of babies, small children and teenagers even more effectively. The service ranges from cuddly toys and children's menus to Nintendo Wiis and iPod docking stations.

For guests under 5, the rooms have a crib or baby's bed, a stroller, soft toys and baby seat, plus brightly coloured bed linen, a children's menu, portable baby monitor, books and socket covers. The slightly older children of between 6 and 12 can also expect family board
games, hot chocolate, a minibar selection of healthy drinks and snacks, age-appropriate DVDs and comics to read. As young people of 13 - 18 want to pursue their own interests on holiday and enjoy their free time, Swissôtels around the world offer modern electronic
entertainment equipment, including Nintendo Wii and an iPod docking station as well as magazines, games such as Trivial Pursuit or Scotland Yard and a selection of exciting DVDs. This allows young people to spend their free time sensibly without being watched over by their parents.

Most Kids Rooms at Swissôtel have a direct connecting door to the parents' room or are right next door and a babysitting service can be arranged for upon request. The Swissôtel Kids Room guarantees that not only kids enjoy themselves, but that parents can also relax
and enjoy their stay.
