We had a lovely stay. It’s the first time we’ve stayed with you in Sydney, we usually stay closer to the harbour but the boys are now more interested in the shops than the sights. Room- the room was nice and each day was very nicely reset. The sofa bed was made up for us. My only suggestion is that when the beds are spectated and the sofa bed made up, perhaps take out the coffee table as it made it a bit too crowded. However, the key card was tricky to get the power to turn on and eventually stopped working so maintenance had to come fix it. I have to say the house keeping woman who stopped what she was doing, came to help and put the call into maintenance was fantastic. She was clearly very busy and rushed but stopped mid task to help us and was friendly and kind while doing so. Breakfast food was great, tasted fresh and was delicious with great variety. We managed a ‘different’ breakfast each day. However, on 2 of the days we had no hot water at all for tea, both days I had to ask for water to be refilled, no glasses available to get water or juice. Egg guy did his best but was a bit overwhelmed and my son gave up waiting to be served twice. The woman how did the door on the first three days was great, one of my sons came later and she always showed him in and where we were. She found alternative seats for us without too much of a delay. 3 of 4 days we had to wait for seating, but only one of those was long and then only about 10 minutes. Pool is a great temperature and really well set out. Congrats on the refurb there. It is lovely. Only issue was waiting 20 minutes one morning for towels. I stood around waiting to get in but a family with young children was stuck there waiting for towels to get out of the pool and go up got their room. They said it has been about 40 minutes and ended up drying as best they could on the little gym towels. I called reception twice and the second time the woman was rude, I understand you’re busy but that’s a long wait and I was simply checking how much longer. Valet gentlemen were always friendly and helpful. Thanks for the stay. You have a lovely hotel and great staff who made the stay very enjoyable.

Almost everything was ok. The one thing is in the morning, on two different occasions, while I was waiting in the lobby, the front door were wide open. It was cold and having to wait for my ride for about 20 minutes was very uncomfortable. When I first came into the lobby, I put all my bags and other items on the chair in the lobby. So I dropped my wallet and not knowing it. When I went up to the 8th floor and was asked for my ID, I realized I lost my wallet. So they called the service that picked me up from the airport and he checked and did not find it. I then went back down to the lobby and they had found it. Not a good way to start my stay there. Everyone was very helpful at the reception desk and helped me calm down. So my rating would be 9.5

We had a balcony room which was great. The best location as you are literally in the centre of the cbd. Lights and trains, buses and taxis all at your doorstep. We are regulars and stay here frequently. A shout out to their latest asset Harry the porter who went above and beyond his role to assist us on our many exits/entries to the hotel during our 6 night stay. As platinum members we received a gold ‘welcome’ and the change of hours and menu in exec lounge were disappointing. This hotel could be so much more if focus was made on the ‘5 star’ element with service. Staff were all friendly and obliging but simple things let the arvo e down (like not taking away plates/glasses when they collect menu-Archie’s bar). The salad in exec bar that looks like it came from a Woolies pack. The housekeeping by the male housekeeper on floor 19 was exceptional, he didn’t miss a thing which is unusual with many of our stays. The hotel was busy with Easter, but we expected that.
