Set to redefine contemporary luxury, enhance overall guest comfort and experience by combining the principles of modern details, honest materials and timeless interiors, Swissotel Sydney engaged an award-winning design team to embark on a refurbishment and renovation project beginning in September 2014 to entirely transform all 359 existing guestrooms whilst adding 10 rooms to the five star hotel.

Largely influenced by the Swiss qualities of precision and simplicity mixed with a touch of Sydney glamour and playfulness, each room and suite will be tastefully decorated with contemporary home comforts to create a beautiful bespoke apartment feel.

Created to bring a sense of the harbour city into the hotel, highly reflective surfaces, splashes of unexpected vibrant colour and unique furniture features have created guestrooms quite different from anything else found in Sydney.

The first stage will reveal 14 new Signature Skyline Rooms and Suites all featuring rain water showers, walk in wardrobes, interactive entertainment centres with 40” LED TVs, refreshment centres, Nespresso coffee machines, complimentary internet access and magnificent views stretching from the CBD to the Blue Mountains.
