Overall stay was good, however I was not able to get the room I booked. I was told there was an issue with the new key technology. I was given a different room but told they would switch me. They never did. I also had a guest added to my reservation but when she arrived they insisted she was not on the reservation and could not check in. I was out of the hotel at a meeting. She called me but the desk rep said I could not correct it on the phone. Eventually someone “remembered” that I had already spoken to them in person upon check in and eventually let her check in. It was a bad start to our trip and we ended up in a room with double beds right next to the elevator. These were the two thing I asked NOT to happen.🤷🏿♂️

I was there for an IIDA Illinois breakfast event in the Zurich Ballroom. the hotel room was great. Nice and clean. The ballroom was great except for the stage carpet. It looked worn. The food was excellent . The staff was very friendly and helpful to all of our attendees. Well done. We left the last hotel we used for 8 years because of lack of friendly service, less than stellar food and worn looking ballroom furniture

While the hotel was conveniently located there were 'hidden prices. The website does not discuss parking prices until after booking. The hotel let numerous underage students run amok unchecked for 2 nights. No chaperones in sight and security needed to be called for noise issues. My room came with only one robe when the room was booked for2 people. I by passed room service for the first 2 days and asked for but didn't receive on the 3rd. The level of attention to detail has dropped precipitously in the past 10 years.

We stayed in an elf decorated suite with an adjoining room, and it was so wonderful. We had a fantastic stay, and the rooms were truly lovely. Great staff, and very helpful all around. Had a really nice experience booking the room. I wasn't sure exactly what we needed, and Callie took the time to go through all of our options. Overall just a really wonderful experience. We plan on making it a yearly trip

Was here for a conference, stayed an extra 2 nights for sightseeing. Great bar food, great conference food. My housekeeper Ashley did a great job. The valets were working really hard, but needed more manpower. Since they were understaffed the (too small, but no fix for that) parking courtyard was stuffed with cars, looked like a used car lot out front, dangerous to find a way to the door. Ubers and taxis couldn't get in or out. Had to get picked up and dropped off in the street. Somebody's going to get hurt in that jumble, so add more valets when you have events and full house. I repeat: the valets were working hard and hustling. They were overwhelmed with zillions of cars in a too-small space. Only fix for that is more people to get the cars to the garage faster. You should consider using paid staff for valet instead of contracting it out. Feels kind of cheap, and hotel staff doesn't help them because it's a different firm. All the swissotel staff were pleasant, hotel is sparkling clean. But, right outside your front door was a hot mess most of the time.
