In fact, we introduced energy management systems in our hotels as early as 1988 and for over a decade was the only global company that was ISO certified in Quality Management Environmental and Health and Safety management.

We also know that even the smallest of changes can gain momentum and create a huge impact. Take the bio food recycling at our properties in Chicago, Osaka and Singapore which opted for a technical solution to tackle the global issue of food waste. The Bio food recycling machine produces bio soil or greywater from leftover and waste food.

2019 marks over 20 years of our partnership with SOS Children’s Villages and we are very proud to support this international non-governmental social development organisation, which has welcomed and supported children around the world since 1949.
