everything was great with the exception of internet connection in the room
Attending a Beckers conference for 3 nights, we found the room to be comfortable and well enough accommodating. Our stay was pleasant even if the rate under a block was still pricey.
I thought is was nice. The rooms especially. VERY crowded Lobby with two restaurant bars. But overall I'd stay there again.

Checkin process was seamless and I was charge a fees for asking for an early check in which is “fair”. I went to my room and the room key didn’t work. My first response was to go down to lobby but the elevator switch didn’t work. Thankfully there was a phone and I connected with a service person. The service person was empathetic and helped me get in my room. He explained that the battery of the door lock will need to be replaced and he would send a tech (who did fix the access in next 20 mins). He also explained that elevator buttons are broken and Otis has been notified and I was asked to used the service elevator (which I did for next 4 days of my stay). The room service did not happen the next day and happened only once during my 3 night stay.

I've stayed in many hotels around the world ranging from very economy to luxurious. Given the cost of the room I expected the service to be somewhere in the middle. The people were nice but it went down hill from there. I arrived and 2 of my lamps didn't have functional light bulbs. The room appeared clean but I questioned this observation because the lights didn't work so the cleaning staff's attention to detail must be lacking. I couldn't find any outlets around the bed. I had to charge my equipment on the other side of the room. Lamp USB ports can be compromised so I always look for a 120v outlet. This forced me to charge my phone on the other side of the room, which is also my alarm. I also couldn't find an outlet in the bathroom or hallway to iron my clothes. The only outlet that was easily accessible was the furthest possible distance away from the door. I tried calling room service but couldn't get through. I had to walk down stairs to place an order. The receptionist was nice. When the food arrived I was surprised at the $50+ price. I expect this price from a premium hotel but my experience thus far was mediocre. The food was..... ok.... Overall, I would just book a different hotel next time. I might pay a little more but I would expect the service to be much better.
