I booked a room with 2 double beds and pull out couch bed. The couch bed did not have any blankets, nor were there any spare in the room. I asked reception on the first night, they said they would have some sheets sent up. This never happened, leading T. one of my friends using towels and a bath robe as a blanket. The next day I asked house keeping for a spare set of sheets, she said she would put a note down. A few hours later, still no sheets. Finally, upon calling for room service, I asked for a blanket T. be delivered with the food. On the third attempt, blankets were finally brought T. the room. This is a pretty poor performance for what is supposed T. be a 5 star hotel.

We found the Swissotel’s location to be very convenient. Check-in and out was quick. Staff were very patient and accommodating. The room was quiet and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was reasonably priced. We had a very enjoyable stay.

The overall experience felt cold and impersonal. I checked in just after 10am and was met with no smile or warmth throughout the process. I was assigned a corner suite, which I found uncomfortable due to its layout. When I asked to change rooms, I was told it was very late and they can't make any change. I accepted the response and tried again the following day, then being moved to a mobility-access room that felt outdated and not well maintained. During my stay, I interacted with four or five front desk staff. Comparing with previous stay with Swissotel, the team appeared under pressure, lack of warmth or genuine willingness to help. Unfortunately, this left me with a disappointing impression of the service. One other thing to be aware of is that the restaurant. The tabletop (no table clothes covered) was full of spots and dents from scratches. I thought it was food residue, but it turned out to be just an old table. And this happens to most of the tables.
