Our recent stay in Swissotel exceeded our expectations. Very good service by executive lounge staff! Well done. Renovated room is chic. The Eight cocktails by Irwan is world-class. Negroni and Eight Sour simply irresistible. Great service by Irwan &. team (Saleh, Steven &. Sasi). Keep up the excellent standards!

This hotel is located near the MRT, with a shortcut from Raffles Mall to the hotel. The hotel is very busy because there is a TWG located next to the receptionist. It's a self-check-in, but you can also get assistance from the staff if needed. Since I’m an ALL member, I was able to check in early and got a room on the 30th floor. The room offers a view of Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion. Both the room and bathroom are not as spacious as I expected, but they are bigger than typical rooms in Singapore. The room is also equipped with a sofa and a coffee machine. The hotel's close proximity to the MRT means we didn’t get caught in the rain and it made it easy to get to all the places in Singapore.

we ordered extra bed in advance, but it didn't come at the check-in and even after we ordered after the 1st day. it takes so much time. access to the MRT is perfect.

When we were checking in on 29/12 we had unfortunately got caught in a massive thunder storm and were soaking wet. We did not arrive until 530pm and we were looking forward to a nice hot shower but we had to wait 40 mins in our wet clothes as our room was not ready. We asked for a complimentary drink given the length of check in time but were told ‘this was only for Accor members’. We expressed we were disappointed considering the length of time and the fact we were left in wet clothes for so long. Following this, every day our housekeeping was done extremely late. On the 30th it wasn’t completed until 830om at night and every other day after this it was done late afternoon. We expressed our concerns on our last day and a very kind, helpful staff member (Alven) apologised for our experience and got us all a complimentary tea/coffee from the barista. Another example of poor customer service was when we asked for newspaper to put inside our trainers to try and dry them out, instead of the receptionist asking what our room number was and sending up, she then asked us to go to another table (she did not escort us) and ask there. Overall disappointing expertise for a 5 star hotel, Would not recommend this hotel to others visiting Singapore.

Overall, loved it. Amenities, staff, location, comfort, convenience. All I would say is sometimes I had to call to request the room made up even when I selected make up room. The sign would flash rather than remain stagnant. My other critique would be being able to reserve my seat at Clove. A few occasions I would have my reserved table taken. A new system needs to be implemented to ensure seats are reserved, especially for one.
