Had a wonderful stay at Swissôtel Sydney. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and my room was arranged just as I had hoped. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. A special mention to the concierge team, who provided a seamless luggage delivery service to my room—truly appreciated! That said, there were a few minor areas for improvement: 1. The shaving soap was expired—the packaging indicated an expiry date of February 2025. 2. The bathroom door’s sealing wasn’t great, leading to excessive water accumulation around the sink and floor after a shower. 3. I attempted to call Room Service several times, but no one answered, and I had to contact the front desk instead. Despite these small issues, my overall experience was very positive. Looking forward to staying again!

We were staying 4 nights and was paying for valet the whole stay at $100 per day. On the 3rd day of our 5 day stay, we returned from our day out to pull into valet only to see it full, we ask the Valet staff what we should do as traffic is extremely bad (we were blocking the main road at this point), we were advised that we need to drive around the block, so we did, this took 25 mins. We then get to valet again to see the same cars still there and we now asking the valet manager, what we should do as we have reservations and need to park the car, we were told "that isnt his problem", so we said, it actually is as we are paying you $100 a day to park our car, so yes parking our car is his problem! We seen 2 of the valet staff chatting to the people parked in the valet area and having a smoke, these people had now been blocking the valet area for 30mins and we were told to drive around the block AGAIN. So we do so as we couldnt keep the street blocked. We get around again 25mins this time, only to see the EXACT same people in the valet smoking at laughing with the valet staff. At this point we had enough so we parked our car in the middle of the street and told them its staying there until they move it, if it gets towed then we will seek legal advice as we had wasted over 1hr driving in a circle because they were to lazy to move the cars so other guests could pull in. We then go up to reception and ask to speak to the manager on duty, he was so rude to us and told us that its not his problem. We then said ok, so if we dont pay the fee at the end of our stay for valet, will it then be his problem? And he just blankly looked at us and said its our fault for coming during a busy time of the day! Imagine telling your hotel guests when they can and cannot come to the hotel. That is just unprofessional. We ended up going to our room, packing our stuff and moving to another hotel, we lost 2 nights stay which we had already paid for but we refused to stay in such a hotel and we will never stay there again.

Room was immaculate and very comfortable, executive lounge provided fresh and diverse food and drinks, staff were very helpful and attentive in the lounge, only issue was no bottles of water for our first day but supplied the remaining days. Location is amazing.
