Lilian is in charge of providing operational support to Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts worldwide, which also includes new and developing hotels. She renders support in the form of quality management and profit optimisation initiatives, standards compliance, pre-opening task force involvement as well as elaboration and implementation of new concepts.
Lilian is a Swiss national with over 15 years of experience within the hotel industry. She started her career with Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts when she joined Swissôtel Le Plaza, Basel, in the capacity of Banquet Catering Manager, shortly after graduating from the Hotel Management School of Lausanne (EHL).
After moving to Swissôtel Chicago where she held the position of Food & Beverage Outlet Manager from 1994 until 1998, Lilian returned to Switzerland as Corporate Director of Partner Marketing for Raffles Hotels & Resorts, based in Zurich.
In 2002, Lilian joined Switzerland Tourism as Director Tourism – Market Switzerland and in 2005 moved to Dubai to become the Director of Food & Beverage of the Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates. During these years, Lilian furthered her education by attending various executive development programmes at Cornell University, the American Management Association and IMD Lausanne.
