Aiden McAuley assumed the role of Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in September 2007, in addition to his role as General Manager of Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore. Aiden embarked on his career with Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts in the United Kingdom in 2000 where he was General Manager of Swissôtel The Howard, London. He relocated to Singapore in 2005 where he assumed the position of General Manager of Swissôtel The Stamford, Singapore. In light of the new Swissôtel developments in Asia, Aiden was promoted to Area General Manager for South Asia and The Pacific in October 2006.
Aiden oversees the properties of Swissôtel in Singapore, Thailand and Australia with regards to the supervision of hotel operations and works closely with the respective General Managers on strategic and financial issues. At the corporate level, Aiden works closely with the corporate offices to spearhead current and future operations as well as the development of networks to support brand expansion within the region.
Prior to joining Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, Aiden, an Irish national, had made significant contributions in international companies and had worked with private investors.
